Updates
  • The Learn at Home Packet is still available for pickup at the school from 9am-1pm every day this week.
  •  Online Learning will continue until May 15th.

Question for the Week:
What are plants?

Questions to ask your child in response to the read-aloud


  • What are some things that happen up in the?
      garden

  • What are somethings that happen down in the      
      dirt?


Learn at Home activity for today:

Monday: 
Did you eat any roots/leaves/stems today (for example, potatoes, lettuce or celery)? Talk about the parts of a plant with your child and discuss what kinds of plant they eat.Have your child draw a picture of their favorite plant that they eat.  I would love to see the drawings! Please feel free to text me or email a picture of your child's drawing to MrsGonzalezCOVID19@gmail.com. 

Open ended questions:
  • What do you observe here/when ____? 
  • What does your sense of ____ tell you about ___?
  • What will you try next?
  • I wonder what would happen if ____? 
  • How do you know? 
  • How could we find out?
